You want your FILM to include the real, totally-you, big and small shit.
Like, that funny joke Grandma cracks. Or grandpa clowning around. Everyone scream-singing on the dance floor to “I Want It That Way” or your whole wedding party downing shooters on the bus ride to the reception. And the massive tear-jerker stuff like the vows. Or the “I do” smooch.
Or the first look. (If that’s your jam.)
You want alllll those special moments that speak the truth of your Boston wedding experience and who you two are, memorialized forever.
Longggg drone shots. Dramatic wedding speeches. Dresses blowing slow-mo in the breeze.
SCREW THAT WEDDING FILM FORMULA.
I’M THE GIRL EATING THE BEANS out of the can and wearing the custom-made necktie.
I’m a Boston-based wedding videographer who shoots wedding films in Boston (and beyond duh!) that are tailored to you and make being on the other side of the camera a fun experience.
And I do both of those things by crashing your pizza dates and rehearsal dinners, asking a bajillion questions (including who your celebrity hall passes are), and blabbing with all your friends and family all while keeping the camera rolling the entire time.
I don’t force you to pose, interrupt the intimate moments to shove the lens in your face, or cut the outtakes of you two being your goofy selves (those are my favorite parts!).
but you can
call me Em...
“Our wedding videography is FUNNY. LIKE WHAT?!?!
Em seamlessly joined our group of friends and family for the day (as if we had been friends for years), picked up on inside jokes, tender moments, and family/friends dynamics. She used all parts of our day to weave together parts of each of us and our personalities – little quips and silly things throughout that are so sweet to remember, into a really beautiful story. (And it was laugh-out-loud funny.) How we were on that day, and how Em captured us is how we want to be remembered forever, and exactly how we want to remember those moments.”

“Brilliant. We’RE speechless. Neither of us could find the words, I had to stand up.
I kept saying to James, ‘I didn’t even know she was there to capture that!’ Em so naturally blended into every moment. Thank you for not only capturing our wedding day, but for simply being part of it. You’re an incredible filmmaker and an even better human.”

and i don't try to.
I might prompt you to bust your best dance move and do a fit check, but what I’m best at is seeing you both for who you are and selecting songs, silly things, and special moments that reflect that back. (Oh, and also, making our time together feel natural and easy, like old friends who could gab for hours. Comfort is a HUGE deal here.) Sound like what you’re looking for?
